I use impasto technique because it provides an additional control over the play of light within the work, and it gives expressivity to the painting - the viewer then having the possibility to see the power and speed with which I apply the color onto the canvas. I combine all that the eye is able to absorb, from the well-controlled color accent to the spontaneous form, from the greatly complex symbolic constructions to the broad chromatic symphonies that art history generously offers.
